LIQUEURS
Liqueur (from French liqueur; lat. Liquor - “liquid”) is a fragrant, usually sweet alcoholic drink from fruit and berry juices, infusions of fragrant herbs with the addition of roots, spices and the like. The content of ethanol varies widely (from 15% to 75% by volume), and the sugar content usually ranges between 25% and 60%. Commercial production of liqueurs began in the Middle Ages, when alchemists, doctors and monks searched for the elixir of life.
