The most delicious soups in Pskov can be tasted in the restaurant - Bar Rublev. Did you know that the main dining dish has a large and interesting story? The word "soup" comes from the Latin "suppa", and means - bread, soaked in broth. In the past, liquid dishes in Russian cuisine were called soup, and traditional soup appeared only in the era of Peter I. Written sources of the 16th — 17th centuries subdivide the first courses into cabbage soup, kalyu (pickle), soup, peasant (hodgepodge), borscht, and stew.
